Visiting Auschwitz is a life changing experience as it paints the picture of the horrible atrocities that were committed there and the antisemitism that created it. The reality is that many people, specifically in America, have lost sight of what transpired in these camps and it's encumbant for our generation to create the educational dynamic for new generations..
The Holocaust is a distant memory for many and it is critical to maintain how important it is to keep antisemitism in the forefront. The Holocaust Project is an ongoing educational tool that will tell the story to people to understand why this can never happen again. 1.6 million people visit Auschwitz annually, as it is a teaching museum for High schoolers and international visitors worldwide. With events that have unfolded in Israel, there is no better time to create a conduit for education.
The Auschwitz Museum has incredible tour guides that have vast knowledge of the camp. It is the goal to film a production taking a tour to understand first hand knowledge of what transpired here. The crew will consist of a Cinamaphotgrapher, and photgrapher and support personnel. The tour is extremely detailed and informative as it goes through every aspect of the camp and how it functioned
The Holocaust Project is seeking funding for filming every aspect, including the tour of Auschwitz.
